What is a webinar?
A webinar is basically an online talk. You get on video and explain a certain topic giving tips and advice. Usually, you have to sign up with an email so you can be sent event reminders and follow up emails. Then at the end of the webinar, the host will share a paid option for getting more support on the topic they talked about.
Webinar Trainings are also great ways to build your email list full of qualified prospects, in fact a recent study reported that 20-40% of all webinar attendees turn into qualified leads. Maybe it is because 74% of consumers prefer learning by video than through reading text alone.
How do you automate a webinar?
Not all webinars are live. They can be pre-recorded and set up so participants can watch it at predetermined times (weekly or monthly) without you having to do anything. That means you don’t need to be there to host it, making it much more accessible for your audience and much less pressure for you. You’ve just got to set it up and put it on a recurring schedule so it’s available to sign up for around the clock.

While you can talk about your course in the free webinar, to make a good return your sales process shouldn’t end there. In fact, 80% of sales need 5 follow ups. That’s where your email sequence comes in. Follow up with everyone who has signed up for the webinar to make sure they’ve watched it and convince them of the benefits of joining your paid course.
Businesses use follow up emails all the time. They’re not as boring as they sound. The more you have fun with it, the more your audience will enjoy reading your emails.

How about this one from Function of Beauty with the subject line ‘😘dry winter hair goodbye!’ They’re using social media trends in their emails to keep them fresh, funny and relatable which helps them to stand out from all the other companies fighting for your attention in your inbox.
Breaking the bombardment of sales-heavy emails we receive every day is the best way to let your audience know that you’re different. You actually care about the person on the receiving end of the email. That’s the vibe you get from The Candid Collective’s introductory email (they’re a website and content service provider). The subject line is: “did we just become best friends?!” Already endearing. The email continues with this friendly feel.

What if you aren’t making sales?
